PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust container capable of preventing dust separated from air and accumulated in the container from flowing back and a vacuum cleaner with the same. SOLUTION: The dust portion unit (dust container) 410 has a dust collection portion 70 which collects dust separated by a dust separation unit (dust separation means) 400 which separates air containing dust sucked by the negative pressure of the electric blower 24 into air and dust and discharged from a discharge opening (introduction opening) 53A formed in the upper portion of the dust separation unit 400. The dust collection portion 70 has a communication case portion (communication air duct) 72 connecting to the discharge opening 53A and nearly horizontally extending and a dust collection case portion (dust trapping chamber) 74 extending nearly vertically from the communication case portion 72.
