The unit (1) has a throttle body unit (10) and an intake manifold (20), where the body unit is partially inserted into the manifold and is sprayed with plastic e.g. polyamide, in such a manner that a complete positive-fit connection is formed between the body unit and the manifold. The body unit is enclosed with a mould core in such a manner that the spraying material is not penetrated into a flow guiding part and/or into a bearing point of the body unit. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a throttle body-intake manifold unit (2) a motor vehicle comprising a throttle body-intake manifold unit.
