IMPROVEMENT OF EUKARYOTIC CELL-FREE PROTEIN SYNTHESIS SYSTEM

A composition for eukaryotic cell-free protein synthesis, the composition comprising an extract prepared from an eukaryotic cell, an energy substance, and a phosphorylation inhibitor of eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2a subunit (eIF2a) and/or a dephosphorylation promoter of phosphorylated eIF2a. In an eukaryote-derived cell-free protein synthesis system, the composition can inhibit the phosphorylation of eIF2a to prevent the decrease in translation efficiency and increase the protein synthesis activity, resulting in promotion of the efficiency of the cell-free protein synthesis system.
