METHOD FOR PRODUCING PACKAGED MILK COFFEE DRINK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing packaged milk coffee drink having excellent blood pressure lowering action.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the packaged milk coffee drink comprises heat sterilizing at sterilization temperature of ≥123°C for sterilization time of within 20 min, a milk component-containing coffee composition which satisfies (A) and (B) conditions as follows; (A) chlorogenic acid content is 0.01-1 mass% and (B)hydroxyhydroquinone content is <0.1 mass% of chlorogenic acid content. The packaged milk coffee drink has 0-0.000085 mass% of hydroxyhydroquinone. The hydroxyhydroquinone content is <0.1 mass% of chlorogenic acid content.
