UNBURNED CARBON REMOVAL APPARATUS IN FLY ASH

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate unburned carbon fitting to a property of fly ash in an apparatus with a more simple structure as compared with a conventional high speed shearing mixer.

SOLUTION: The unburned carbon removal apparatus comprises a slurry adjustment tank 10 for adding water c to the fly ash a to produce a slurry d; a device 20 for adding a capturing agent e to the slurry d; a surface reforming device 30 for stirring the slurry after addition of the capturing agent at a high speed to give a shearing force to the slurry and depositing the capturing agent on a surface of the unburned carbon; an adjustment tank 60 for adding a bubbling agent f to the slurry d' after reforming of the surface by the surface reforming device; and a floatation machine 70 for stirring the slurry after addition of the bubbling agent and selectively floating the unburned carbon b by the generated bubbles n. The surface reforming device is constituted such that a plurality of surface reformers 31 comprising a vertical stirring tank 33 and a stirrer 34 provided in the stirring tank are connected in series to give the shearing force at the multi-stage.
