<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power module with which the heat generated from a power switching element can be dissipated efficiently, without complicating the mechanism of the apparatus or accompanying increase in the weight of the apparatus, and the apparatus can be miniaturized and facilitates mounting on an HEV. <P>SOLUTION: One end of a thermally conductive sheet 56 is secured to a motor case 55. The other end of the thermally conductive sheet 56 is inserted into a housing 13 from a gap provided in a cover 50 and then is stuck to the back of a substrate 19 through thermally conductive adhesive. Heat generated from power MOSFETs 1a-1c, 2a-2c is conducted to the motor case 55 via the substrate 19 and the thermally conductive sheet 56, and is dissipated by the cooling mechanism of an electric motor 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
