<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication apparatus capable of automatically executing talkaround operations when the communication apparatus makes transmission by trunked system communication exchange and fails to make the transmission. <P>SOLUTION: When the wireless communication apparatus exchanges communication with another wireless communication apparatus, they can select communication exchange using the same frequency or communication exchange using frequencies shifted by a prescribed frequency via a repeater, the wireless communication apparatus stores in advance a communication exchange instruction by a talkaround function instructed by a talkaround communication exchange instruction signal from an external connector 7 to a microcomputer 6, when the wireless communication apparatus detects transmission fault(s) for once or more predetermined consecutive number of times in the case of transmission by the trunked system communication exchange, the apparatus references the stored communication exchange instruction by the talkaround function, sets the reception frequency to the transmission frequency of the communication exchange opposite party to carry out transmission processing when the communication exchange instruction by the talkaround function is received as a result of the reference, and informs the communication exchange opposite party about malfunction of communication exchange by the repeater when the apparatus can exchange communication with the opposite party. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
