<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that generally a pattern combination is determined by lottery, so a player cannot intervene in the combination. <P>SOLUTION: A pattern storage means 103 holds an expansion type variable pattern including a presentation mode of presenting a pattern candidate which is at least one pattern among patterns constituting a pattern combination showing the result of success/failure lottery in a success/failure lottery means 112. A pattern candidate select means 138 selects one or two or more pattern candidates presented in the expansion type variable pattern among previously provided pattern types when the expansion type variable pattern is selected. A preceding stop pattern select means 140 selects a preceding stop pattern, which precedes and stops to make a reach (ready-to-win state) pattern among the pattern candidates selected by the pattern candidate select means 138.
