THERMOELECTRIC TRANSDUCER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution and a manufacturing method of a thermoelectric transducer which can exhibit high thermoelectric transducing performance by confining a carrier on a single dimensional line employing a thin-wire thermoelectric body. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric transducer comprises a multitude of thin-wire shaped thermoelectric bodies provided on resin on a substrate or an inorganic porous material. The thermoelectric transducer is characterized by distorting the thin-wire shaped thermoelectric body into the tensile direction thereof, and in this case, a big temperature difference can be obtained.
