PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescent device and its manufacturing method with a color reproduction range extended. SOLUTION: An EL element 3R for red light for emitting light corresponding to a wavelength range of red color, an EL element 3G for green light emitting light corresponding to a wavelength range of green color, and a first EL element 3B for blue light emitting light corresponding to a wavelength range of blue color are laminated in turn outside in a radius direction of a support rod 2 so as to be in a cross-section cylindrical shape as seen from an axis center of the support rod 2. Then, a power source device Gr, Gg, Gb1 for each color enabled to supply an independent drive signal to each EL element 3R, 3G, 3B for each color is connected to each power source device Gr, Gg, Gb1 to tone luminous brightness of each EL element 3R, 3G, 3B for each color, and synthesized light L consisting of lights emitted from each EL element 3R, 3G, 3B for each color is to be irradiated toward the outside in the radius direction of the support rod 2.
