PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel that can prevent display irregularity. SOLUTION: Either a spacer 27 or a protruded electrode 31 is formed in an identical form in a plan view at an equivalent position of each pixel 5 on an array substrate. The thickness and rubbing intensity of an alignment layer around the protruded electrode 31 and the spacer 27 are changed compared to a flat part 38 to form an uneven alignment region 37. The shape and size of the uneven alignment region 37 are made identical in every pixel 5, which prevents uneven display by the pixels 5, prevents uneven alignment of the liquid crystal composition, and causes no visible display irregularity on a screen. Thus, display irregularity in the screen section caused by formation of an alignment uneven region 37 in the alignment layer can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
