PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ply for a tire capable of improving uniformity of the tire, particularly RFV by eliminating an adverse effect due to a ply joint part, and the tire using it. SOLUTION: The ply 10 for the tire is used as a structural member of the tire. The ply for the tire is composed of a ply material 1 made of rubber-coated ply cords and a plurality sheets of rubber members 2 which are applied on the ply material 1 and have the same width as the ply material 1 and short length.
