PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic wave oscillator with high electric power efficiency and an ultrasonic washing machine using it. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic wave oscillator outputting high frequency electric power to an ultrasonic vibrator, is provided with at least a main oscillator unit oscillating high frequency signals; an output unit receiving the high frequency signals oscillated from the main oscillator unit and outputting as high frequency electric power; an output transformer transforming the high frequency electric power; a matching circuit regulating the frequency of the transformed high frequency electric power and outputting to the ultrasonic vibrator; and a power source unit supplying electric power inputted from an AC power source to the output unit as a direct current. The power source unit is an ultrasonic oscillator having a chopper circuit increasing the frequency of the power inputted from the AC power source, transmits high frequency electric power generated in the ultrasonic oscillator to the ultrasonic vibrator through an output cable, applies the ultrasonic vibration to a washing solution by the ultrasonic vibrator, to wash washing objects in the ultrasonic washing machine.
