PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balcony having a handrail section with excellent general-purpose properties, to which an upper end of an erected wall section can be simply and surely attached. SOLUTION: This balcony comprises: a horizontal floor section which is projected from an exterior wall of a building; the erected wall section 20 as a wall erected from an end of the floor section; a siding 21 which is arranged on the exterior wall of the erected wall section; and the handrail section which is provided at the upper end of the erected wall section. The handrail section is provided with a siding holder 30 which is arranged at the lower end of the handrail section, which is attached to the upper end of the erected wall section, and which makes an upper end of the siding fixed in the state of being sandwiched between the siding holder 30 and the erected wall section. The siding holder is equipped with a holding member 32 movable in the direction of the thickness of the siding. Thus, a position of the holding member is changed by the thickness of the siding, so that the siding can be fixed in a sandwiched manner. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
