The secure data transmission system uses a mobile telephone (KEG) in communication with a GSM mobile radio network (MFN). Data is transmitted in an USSD-string (U). An antenna (BS) transmits and receives signals. The signals are transmitted in the network, using a mobile application part protocol (MAP), to an intermediate circuit (MSC/VLR) and to further circuits (MSC2---). Signals are transmitted to a home base register (HLR) and a net element (SCP).
