The ratchet wrench has an internally toothed rim (10) with a grip on one side and two locking pawls (30) which each have a pin (34) on the end side and engage in the inner space (11) of the rim. A control element (60) which lies on the inner space of the rim has a curved groove (61) on the underneath. A spring (40) fits in the recesses (32) of the two locking pawls whilst a further spring element (50) has a ring (51) and two ends (52) so that the ring fits round the bolt (23) of the drive and the two ends are angled to fit into the holes (33) of the locking pawls. A drive (20) has a drive head (25) and insert (21) for fitting into the inner space of the toothed rim.
