MOVEABLE AUTOROOF WITH A COVERING FABRIC

An openable automobile roof equipped with a roof covering fabric is provided to prevent generation of considerable additional cost caused by a dedicated covering unit such as a cap or a trip-type cover for covering a gap between neighboring walls. An openable automobile roof(1) equipped with a roof covering fabric(3) comprises the roof covering fabric and a sealing supporter(8). The roof covering fabric is supported by a roof rod(2). The sealing supporter has a sealing element(12). The autoroof can be displaced between a closing position that covers an inner space of a vehicle and a folding position of a tail end. The sealing element is adjacent to a side glass(11) at a lateral area when the autoroof is closed. The sealing supporter comprises a supporting member which moves relatively to a roof kinematic member(4). The roof kinematic member operates the roof rod when the supporting member moves between the closing position and the folding position. The roof covering fabric is fixed onto the sealing supporter.
