<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printer using a rolled sheet having such a structure that a cutting blade of a cutter can be returned to the original position with a simple mechanism when the cutting blade for cutting a rolled sheet does not return due to jam or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The printer using a rolled sheet 10 comprises: a printer main body; a rolled sheet conveying part; a paper printing section 33; a paper cutting unit; an opening and closing cover 38 that covers at least the paper printing section and the paper cutting unit; and an opening lever 39 for opening the cover, wherein the opening lever 39 and a movable blade 34 of the paper cutting unit are mechanically interlocked so that the movable blade can be compulsorily evacuated from a fixed blade 36 by the cover release motion of the opening lever. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
