<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a developer dispersion and its manufacturing method which has high conservation stability. <P>SOLUTION: The invention refers to a developer dispersion which contains at least one kind of compound represented by formula (1) and a pigment, and is of pH 5.0-7.0, and its manufacturing method. In the formula, R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>independently each represents hydrogen atom, or 1-6C alkyl group, a<SP>1</SP>represents integer of 1-6, n<SP>1</SP>represents integer of either 0, 1 or 2, m<SP>1</SP>and m<SP>2</SP>independently each represents integer of either 0 or 1-3.
