<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device, a process cartridge, and an image forming apparatus which securely reduce toner scattering to the outside of the developing device and which have high environmental properties, without causing wasteful toner consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device is provided with a cover member, covering a developer carried on a developer carrier between a position facing to an image carrier 21 and a position facing a developer regulating member, suction means 23n, 23s sucking separated toner separated from the developer carrier, together with the air in a space covered by the cover member, from a suction port 23m1, and supply means 23n, 23t for directly or indirectly supplying the separated toner sucked by the suction means 23n, 23s into the developing device 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
