<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color correction data acquiring system for retrieving a range used as correction data from an arbitrary picture and extracting information necessary for correction from the range. <P>SOLUTION: A high frequency factor is cut in a frequency region and a low frequency image is generated in an image input to an image processing device 20, and a data uniform portion in the input image is analyzed, based on the differential image between the input image and the generated low frequency image. In the image processing device 20, an image of a prescribed range or larger out of the image is treated as a patch data acquiring range. After a prescribed color correction operation, the image processing device 20 generates image data to an image formation control unit, and receives a read image in which an image formed on a recording paper is read. Then, color correction data are acquired, based on the image in the patch data acquiring range of the input image and the image of the range of the reading image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
