<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a set rule management device capable of maintaining contents of common set items contained in a rule classification in a uniform state. <P>SOLUTION: In this set rule management device for hierarchically classifying and holding a set rule containing a set item and a set value to the set item, the set rule is registered in conformation to either one of rule classifications. In this case, information for common set items contained in the rule classifications is updated so that each rule classification retains, as a common set item contained in the rule classification concerned, information for a set item having a set value which is common with other rule classifications and set rules related to lower layers than the rule classification concerned, but not common, for high-order classifications related to layers higher than the rule classification concerned, with rule classifications and set rules related to layers lower than the high-order classification. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
