<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a desired gamma curve in a short time by making a relatively less adjustment points exist. <P>SOLUTION: A gamma curve adjusting device for adjusting the gamma curve indicating relation between input side tone values and output side tone values used for a gamma correction circuit which performs gamma correction of an image signal, has a user interface part which permits specification of the output side tone values at the respective adjustment points about a plurality of preset adjustment points on the gamma curve to the user; and an adjustment part 10b which adjusts the gamma curve so that the output side tone values at the respective adjustment points become values specified by the user interface part. Two adjustment points of a first set adjacent to each other on the gamma curve among the plurality of adjustment points are set so that difference of the input side tone values between the two adjustment points of the first set differs from difference between input side tone values between two adjustment points of a second set adjacent to each other on the gamma curve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
