<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation controller for an internal combustion engine capable of preventing deformation of an internal wall of a cylinder bore due to combustion pressure while achieving high output of the engine. <P>SOLUTION: When drop speed of temperature of cooling water flowing in a cooling water passage 1b of the engine 2 is higher than a predetermined value, retard angle of fuel injection timing from basic fuel injection timing is achieved to reduce pressure in a cylinder in an expansion stroke and reduce stress acting on the internal wall of the cylinder bore. When drop speed of temperature of cooling water is reduced below the predetermined value during retard angle control of fuel injection timing, the fuel injection timing is returned to the basic fuel injection timing after this situation continues for predetermined time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
