<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor holding device capable of holding a sensor in a slightly contacting state to a subject body, and easily moving the sensor on the subject body. <P>SOLUTION: In this sensor holding device 10, a first link mechanism 48 is provided on a turning member 46 turnably provided around a vertical turning axis C. An ultrasonic probe (sensor) 12 is supported on a second movable link 50b of a second link mechanism 50 provided on a first movable link 48b of the first link mechanism 48. The ultrasonic probe 12 is thus easily movable to any position in a three-dimensional space. Thrust of a directional component against a load applied on the first movable link 48b is generated by a first coil spring 49, and thrust of a directional component against a load applied on the second movable link 50b is generated by a second coil spring 51, so that the ultrasonic probe is held so as to slightly contact a living body 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
