PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improving method for preventing corrosion of a metal body in a lithium bromide aqueous solution. SOLUTION: In the method for preventing corrosion of an object metal body in the lithium bromide aqueous solution, the method sets the magnetite concentration in the aqueous solution to a predetermined concentration or less of becoming a specific corrosion quantity of less in corrosion of an object metal body surface generated by the relationship between magnetite in the aqueous solution and the object metal body.
