PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake control device capable of preventing uneven contact of a shaft on a bearing by preventing warp of the shaft at a time of fixing of a valve. SOLUTION: In the intake control device having a slit 5 extending in an axial center direction bored in a rotatable shaft 3 arranged to cross an intake passage, having a plate shape valve 4 inserted in the slit 5, having the valve 4 fixed on the shaft 3 by a bolt 6 penetrating through the valve 4 and fastened in a direction crossing the slit 5, and controlling intake air flow quantity in the intake passage by rotational position of the valve 4 rotating as one unit with the shaft 3, a valve 4 of optimal thickness making clearance C between the valve 4 and the slit 5 minimum is selected from prepared valves 4 of different thicknesses and is installed on the shaft 3.
