LOCKING MECHANISM OF AIRTIGHT CLOSURE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight closure system with no lock case, which is equipped with a locking function capable of fixing a handle in a tightening position/an untightening position and unfixing the handle by operating a duplicate key and a thumb-turn. SOLUTION: A cylinder 4 and the thumb-turn 8 are assembled to outside and inside seats 2 and 9 for mounting the handles 3 and 6 of the airtight closure system on a door 1. The operation of the duplicate key and the thumb-turn 8 enables a handle shaft 10 in the tightening position or the release position to be fixed or unfixed by means of a locking cam 16.
