PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patterning applicator capable of forming a linear comb-like finished pattern, and to provide a finishing method using the patterning applicator. SOLUTION: A comb-like shape is formed in an applicator part, and rollers are attached to both ends of a back surface upper part of a main body. In the execution, the applicstor is pressed and moved within a time before a finishing coating material for building is not dried up. As the finishing method, a base layer is formed using an under coating material in a first step, a coating material comprising a synthetic resin emulsion and inorganic filler is applied on the surface of the base layer in a second step, an over coating material prepared by mixing aggregate in a coating material or the coating material is applied thereon to form an over coating layer in a third step and the patterning coating tool 7 is pressed and moved within a time before the over coating layer is not dried up to form the comb-like pattern.
