A rib support (32) is applicable to the internal side of a motor vehicle skin (12) near at least one orifice (28) embodied in the shell (12) for passing through the rib (26) of a part (14) which is insertable to the external visible face of the shell (12) opposite to the internal face thereof. Said support (32) is characterised in that it comprises at least one rib (30) arranged in such a way that the internal face of the skin (12) is protruded near the orifice (28) thereof when the support (32) is pressed against the internal face of the shell (12) and at lest one rib (30) of the support (32) is fixable to the corresponding rib (26) of the part (14) insertable to the skin (12)
