The machining process is for a machine with a transfer grip to take the workpiece out of a magazine (16), put it in a clamping device and finally back in the magazine. The transfer grip can turn round a turning axis (22). There may be an additional turning grip (20) to take over the workpiece from the transfer grip after machining.
