Method for improving diagnostic quality of impedance cardiography (IKG) involves determination and evaluation of the pulse waves speed in the thoracic aorta along with IKG. Deviation is considered for determining the parameter on the basis of IKG depending on the parameter of the respective deviation of certain pulse wave speed of aforementioned definite normal values. The user is referred to the diagnostic quality of the respective determined parameters. An INDEPENENT CLAIM is also included for the device for the improvement of the diagnostic quality of impedance cardiography (IKG).
