A portable terminal is provided to make it easy to adjust an opening angle of a terminal body according to a wide ranged opening angle according as the opening angle is increased. A portable terminal comprises the first body(110), the second body(120), a connector(130) and a stopping device. The first body(110) installs a keypad on an inner side which is closed. The second body(120) is connected to the first body(110) such that the second body can be opened or closed with regard to the first body(110), and includes display units on the closed inner side and an external side which can output visual information. The connector(130) is connected to the first body(110) and the second body(120) such that both ends of the connector(130) can be rotated with regard to the bodies(110,120). At this time the connector's length is equal to or longer than a sum of thicknesses of the two bodies(110,120) such that the two bodies(110,120) can rotate by 360 degrees. The connector(130) includes housings whose one ends are connected to the first body(110) and whose other ends are connected to the second body(120). The stopping device is installed on one side within the housings. |
