Disclosed is a method for producing an ocular lens material which comprises a step for reacting and covalently bonding a compound having a phosphorylcholine group represented by the formula (1) below with the surface of an ocular lens material. This method for producing an ocular lens material is characterized in that a compound having a terminal amino group is introduced into the surface of the ocular lens material and then a compound represented by the formula (2) or (3) below is introduced thereinto through the compound having the terminal amino group.
