A game system and a storage medium storing a game program are provided to implement a new operation having strengthened flexibility by using a plurality of controllers. The game system includes the first and second controller(70,76), and a game device executing the game program to display 2D(Dimensional) or 3D virtual game space to a display area of a display device. The first controller includes the first motion data generator generating the first motion data according to motion of the first controller body. The second controller generates the second motion data according to a direction input motion performed by a gamer. The game device includes a game processor obtaining the first and second motion data, and transferring the virtual game space to a game process according to the obtained motion data, and a display processor making the display device display an image of the virtual game space transferred to the game processor. |
