A vibration damping device for a power steering system is provided to effectively reduce vibration being transmitted to a steering wheel, thereby considerably relieving fatigue of a driver. A vibration damping device for a power steering system comprises a spring(5) and a rubber damper(6). The spring for absorbing and reducing vibration is provided on an outer circumferential surface of a high-pressure hose(3) that forms a path between an oil pump(1) and a steering gear box(2) in order to transmit hydraulic oil exhausted from the oil pump driven by an engine to the steering gear box. The rubber damper reduces the vibration being transmitted through the spring. More specifically, spring seats(4) are fixed to both ends of the high-pressure hose, and each of the two springs is supported in the spring seats by one end. The other end of each spring is supported by the rubber damper which is fit around the high-pressure hose to be interposed between the two springs.
