PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new use of acerola leaves which are not conventionally industrially used and to obtain a natural product-derived lipid absorption inhibitor.

SOLUTION: The lipid absorption inhibitor or lipase inhibitor comprises acerola leaves or a treated material thereof as an active ingredient. The food having inhibitory action on lipid absorption and/or inhibitory action on lipase comprises acerola leaves or a treated material thereof.
