<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing control method and device for an electric sliding door for a vehicle capable of reducing the occurrence of erroneous detection in detecting a pinch of foreign matter during the closing operation of the electric sliding door for the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The opening/closing control device for the electric sliding door for the vehicle comprises a feedback control section 6 increasing the amount of power supply to a motor 3 for driving the sliding door 1 when the opening/closing operation of the sliding door 1 is reduced in speed from a predetermined speed; a motor current sensor 7 detecting a value of current flowing through the motor 3; a pinch determining section 8 determining the pinch of foreign matter when the value of current flowing through the motor is a threshold or more; a vehicle speed sensor 9 detecting the acceleration of the vehicle; and a threshold correcting section 10 for correcting the threshold to a higher value according to the acceleration in the closing operation direction of the sliding door 1, detected by the vehicle speed sensor 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
