<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lightweight planting equipment that is lightweight and is applicable even to the existing building and readily controls soil and water content in order to enable planting on an artificial foundation without further requiring much labor, time and cost for laying and removal. <P>SOLUTION: The planting mats according to this invention comprises mat frames having each a concave cell having an opening near the bottom, these cells are connected with ribs one another, a filter set inside each cell and a plant-breeding material formed on the filter in each cell.
