<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary grain-steaming machine for improving steaming and cooling efficiency of grains using rotary drum by sufficiently agitating grains in the rotary drum, sufficiently maintaining vapor pressure in the rotary drum, and by thoroughly passing steam through agitated grains located below. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary drum is horizontally pivoted on a machine frame. One end of a shaft tube of the rotary drum is closed, and a blast tube is connected to the other end so as to blow air inside the drum. A steam/water supplying tube is inserted from inside of the shaft tube into the rotary drum. An openable/closable material feeding port and an openable/closable material discharge port are provided on the rotary drum. A plurality of ventilation plates are provided on the peripheral face of the rotary drum in the same open angle positions. Steam outlet chambers are provided outside through the ventilation plates, and steam outlet ports are provided in the outlet chambers so as to communicate with the open air. The outlet ports are opened when the drum is turned downward, and closed when the drum is turned upward by self-weight sliding plates supported inside the outlet chambers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
