<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method with which sub-information can be stably taken out by restoration processing without being affected by the frequency distribution of main image information, and an image processing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In an image processing method for creating composite image information by embedding sub-information in an invisible state by superimposing the relevant sub-information on visible main image information, before embedding the sub-information, main image frequency processing is applied to the main image information for removing or reducing a frequency component which exerts adverse influence at the time of restoration of the sub-information, and the sub-information is superimposed on the processed main image information, so that the relevant sub-information can be embedded in a visible state and the composite image information can be created. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
