PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk reproducing device capable of easily knowing a valid key usable in a current operation state by disposing a help key used in any operation states and pressing the help key. SOLUTION: For example, when a help key is pressed during playing of an optical disk, a current operation state is discriminated, and a value 1 corresponding to the operation state is set to a variable. A help screen enumerating the items of valid keys corresponding to the value 1 of the set variable or the items of batch displaying is displayed in a display device. When the item of the valid key is selected, the explanation screen of the selected item is displayed in the display device.
