PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke machine, which repeats an introduction when no wireless microphone signal is received at singing start time, at a low price. SOLUTION: The karaoke machine is equipped with a karaoke playing means of playing accompaniment music based upon musical piece data, a wireless microphone receiving means of receiving a wireless microphone radio signal, demodulating and outputting a singing signal, and outputting a reception/non-reception signal for a wireless signal carrier, and a control means of performing a first process of advancing to a fourth process when the reception/non-reception signal indicates "reception" when the karaoke playing means is made to play a musical piece up to a first time position based upon singing-start identification information or advancing to a second process when the reception/non-reception signal indicates "non-reception", the second process of continuing the musical performance after putting the musical performance back to a second time position closer to the beginning of the music than the first time position, and then advancing to a third process, the third process of advancing to the fourth process when the reception/non-reception signal indicates "reception" when the musical performance advances to or almost to the first time position or advancing to the second process when "non-reception", and the fourth process of carrying on the musical performance of the musical piece.
