PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display medium with which deterioration in display quality is prevented by improving moisture resistance and suppressing occurrence of an outgas. SOLUTION: The image display medium is constructed by having: a front face substrate 2 with a light transmission property; a rear face substrate 3; a partition member 5 which places the front face substrate 2 and the rear face substrate 3 opposite to each other while supporting, and at the same time forms a plurality of cells 4 by partitioning a space between the substrates 2, 3 in directions parallel to the substrates 2, 3, and which is composed of an insulating material such as a thermosetting resin; two groups of particles composed of white particles 6A and black particles 6B which are enclosed in the cells 4, and whose colors and the static charge characteristics are different from each other; a first sealing member 10 which seals a peripheral section between the front face substrate 2 and the rear face substrate 3 and further prevents invasion of the outgas; and a second sealing member 11 which seals the outside of the first sealing member and which has the moisture resistance.
