PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator controller capable of realizing a function of a kick-down switch at lower cost. SOLUTION: This accelerator controller is provided with a warning mechanism for warning a driver by changing force given to the driver from an accelerator pedal based on conditions other than opening of an accelerator. The warning mechanism is set to increase the force given to the driver from the accelerator pedal in the vicinity of opening of the accelerator for shifting gear of a transmission onto a low speed side (steps SA20, SA30). The opening of the accelerator for shifting gear of the transmission onto the low speed side is opening of the accelerator for performing kick-down. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
