PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric for a seat belt while improving side directional stiffness as the fabric for the seat belt so as to prevent jamming cut, without using a hard monofilament to improve recycling property. SOLUTION: This fabric for the seat belt woven by using a needle loom having a single needle is provided with that the fabric is woven by using multifilament yarns of a sheath core type hot melt-bonding yarn 1 as weft yarns, and the filaments are bonded to each other by heating after weaving to melt the sheath 3 parts of the sheath core type yarns 1 so that the weft yarns become pseudo monofilaments.
