A tissue array production device comprises a positioning array (11) with markings for positioning of first (4) and second hollow needles (5) over the receiver block (1) and the donor block (2), where a mobile pivotable lever is provided for transmitting the position of the markings on appropriate positions on the donor block and the receiver block. An independent claim is also included for the application of positioning arrays for the production of tissue arrays.
