The catheter has a controller provided for controlling an end region of the catheter. An optical camera (5) is connected with the end region of the catheter, where the camera is implemented as micro or nano camera. A data transmission line is provided, where the camera transmits raw image data to a remotely arranged receiver by the data transmission line. The data transmission line has a cable that runs within the catheter. An independent claim is also included for a catheterization device comprising a controllable catheter.
