摘要 A reversible dimmer device of a gas discharge lamp and a light adjusting control method thereof are provided to achieve practicality and convenience of usage, by controlling luminance or a luminous mode of the gas discharge lamp. In a reversible dimmer device of a gas discharge lamp(3) for controlling an operation of more than one gas discharge lamp using more than one power switch(2), a rectifier(102) rectifies a power signal input from the power switch and is connected to the power switch. A power factor correction circuit(103) is connected to the rectifier, and performs power factor correction and boosts the power signal. A variable frequency resonance driving circuit(104) generates an AC signal having a constant frequency according to the power signal to drive the gas discharge lamp. A detection circuit(105) is connected to the rectifier and detects the state of the power switch. A logic control circuit(106) outputs a control command according to timing and time of off-on switching of the power switch, and is connected to the detection circuit. A frequency modulation control circuit(107) controls a luminous mode of the gas discharge lamp, by changing a driving frequency of the power signal, by controlling a power parameter according to the control command. A charging/discharging controller(108) is connected to the logic control circuit, and provides sufficient power to the variable frequency resonance driving circuit from a power storage device(109) during the switching operation of the power switch.
