ASSIST DEVICE FOR SEWING-MATERIAL HOLDING FRAME IN SEWING MACHINE AND SEWING METHOD USING THE ASSIST DEVICE

An assist device of a sewing-material holding frame in a sewing machine and a sewing method by using the same are provided to have the simple attaching and detaching structure relating to the sewing-material holding frame at the second stroke and to perform a sewing process through the entire sewing range. An embroidery frame(7) is supported to a sewing machine body with a cantilever shape. The sewn cloth placed on the embroidery frame is maintained by a sustain clip(9). A frame subsidiary member(8) is mounted between the front and rear of the embroidery frame and regulates the distance between both ends. Receiving members(19) are installed at both ends of the frame subsidiary member and engaged with both sides of the sustain clip. The frame subsidiary member is mounted from the upper portion of the sustain clip.
